Application Process

How do I apply to become an agent?

There are a couple ways to apply. One is on our career site. Another is on the homepage of our corporate website.

What will I need to do?

Once you submit your application and brief technology scan, you will have the opportunity to complete our assessments, which include written and verbal interview questions and aptitude tests. It will take you less than an hour to complete the whole process.

Can I retake the assessments?

Because of the volume of applications, we only allow one-time testing. Please ensure you have the time and a quiet location before you begin.

How do I know if I passed?

You will be notified by email. If you meet the criteria, you will be considered for program opportunities that appear to be a match.

How do I know if I’ve been selected for a program?

We will contact you by email with all the program details. If you accept the terms and are selected, an independent contractor agreement will be drafted. It will outline the scope of the work and your objectives.

How do I prepare for my program?

Once selected, you will go through virtual preparation to learn the client’s business and customers before beginning work. Instruction can take anywhere from two days to several weeks, depending on the client. You will be paid for your time, providing you meet all the program requirements.

How long will it take to be selected for a program?

New programs can begin any time, and each client has different needs. A match can occur immediately or may take a little longer, so be sure to keep your application current and we will notify you with the first potential match. Be sure your ISP and/or email are set to accept email from anyone with a @workingsol.com address.

Do I need to apply more than once?

No, you should only complete one application. Any additional applications will not be accepted.

Can I update my application after it has been submitted?

Yes, you may update your profile at any time, using the Complete or Update your Application button and the password you established when completing the application.

Do you have work available for someone in my state?

Yes. As a virtual workforce, our Work Anywhere Agents do business across the United States.

Why is my password not working?

The password is case-sensitive, so be sure you enter the correct case as well as the correct letters and numbers.

How do I retrieve my password?

Please go to Complete or Update your Application and you will find a link below the “Login” button to retrieve it.

Work and Compensation

What happens when the program ends?

Agents who have successfully completed at least 50 hours on a program are eligible to post for additional work. Programs are available to active agents first.

Can I work on more than one program at a time?

Yes, agents are typically eligible to work on two programs at once. We cannot guarantee consistent work will be available, but we do our best to keep reliable and successful agents busy. Please remember that reliability is as important as performance, especially when working with a virtual workforce.

Who determines the hours I work?

Agents are able to schedule their work hours, but they are responsible for them once set. Agents who consistently meet their commitments and perform well will be given priority scheduling.

Do you provide benefits?

All of our agents are self-employed contractors. Traditional employee benefits, such as paid time off and health insurance, cannot be offered. The main benefits are the ability to schedule your hours and work when it is convenient for you—from the comfort of home, without the hassles of commuting and outside expenses.

Working Solutions also offers several agent community perks, including discounts to major computer retailers, and agent rewards and referral programs.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. If you were referred to us by one of our agents, be sure to list their agent ID on your application. Agents who make successful referrals are awarded $100 for each one, provided the new talent meets all requirements.

How much can I earn?

Each program is paid differently. Some pay by the record or entry, while others pay by talk minutes, sales, or a combination of both. Some agents may be paid a set amount per program. Agents have earned the equivalent of anywhere from $9 an hour to $30 an hour, depending on the program. Your income will vary, based on the work you are doing, your performance, how much work is available, and how much time you put in.

How will I get paid?

We offer direct deposit, or we can send checks by mail. Checks are issued twice a month for completed work, which must be invoiced.

Will working as an agent replace my full-time job?

Working Solutions provides flexible work schedules, ranging from 15 to 20 hours a week to 40 or more.

At certain times of year, such as the holidays, the hours can ramp up. At other times, when a program slows down, the hours can level off.

For earning potential, agents should calculate their hours in terms average workflow over time.

Why can't I access the secure agent area of the website?

It is only available to active agents who currently are on a program.

Can my computer be on a wireless connection?

Due to the sensitivity of client software, systems and connections, we cannot support wireless connectivity.
